The place is old but cozy, which was nice. Plenty of parking spaces and a short walk to the city center. The staff is very friendly! Breakfast has plenty of options, and was very good. Definetly a price/performance hotel and would definetly stay again if i was in Texel again.

We felt extremely welcome and well taken care of - the receptionist went out of her way to make sure we were happy. She gave us tips and really made us feel secure and happy. When single and travelling with teenagers, this means a lot

We liked everything: the room, the bed, location, staff, food. It was all exceptional. The breakfast in the morning was also great. When you stay in De Sumulpot, you feel like a VIP!
Great location, straight into the woods from the hotel. Also possible to walk or cycle through the woods via dunes to the beach. Lots of cycle paths nearby too and free car parking on site. Hotel staff were welcoming and helpful. We stayed in a two-bed ground floor apartment. It was tastefully decorated and very cosy and we could see the woods from the living room. It was great to find a kitchen basics pack (washing up liquid / tea towel etc.) and to find beds already made up. We had a lovely relaxing time. Hotel is also dog-friendly.
The nice and cozy bed and breakfast is located 5 mins walk from the Den hoorn bus station. The hosts robert and his wife are vey welcoming and offered us their home like their own guests. They gave us a nice sumptuous basket filled with breads, sausages, juice, milks and eggs for breakfast. They were even generous enough to offer us their Vespa ( just for 25 EUR) which became the highlight of our trip as we used it a lot to commute to the beach and lighthouse. Overall, a definite recommendation for any one going to texel.
The property was located centrally in a very small, quiet village southerly on the island of Texel, but still close to a grocery, post office, bike rental, church and restaurants. It’s own restaurant was absolutely excellent, the property was very clean and staff were marvelous. We enjoyed afternoon coffees and beers at our outdoor patio table, and evening walks around the village.
Beautiful, quiet B&B on the south end of Texel Island on a farm. Lovely hosts, barn cats and cows next door. Very peaceful but easy to get to Den Burg or Den Hoorn by car or even bicycle. Breakfast was delicious with lots of variety every day. We had a lovely stay and look forward to going back.
Hotel is being refurbished, but new apartments are available in the back. They are comfy. Stepping out you see the fields and old church of Hoorn which is very nice. We were served a very nice breakfast in the room. It was actually too big for us two, so we took rolls for lunch.
A great find! Super helpful, welcoming and friendly staff. Very clean room with a really comfortable bed. Fantastic selection for breakfast with great coffee. We rented a couple of e-bikes directly from the hotel to tour the island. So convenient and lots of fun!
Lovely small hotel in a quiet village. Ten minute drive to ferry and not far from beautiful beaches.
Lots of outdoor & indoor space for relaxation.
Tasty breakfast with amazing fresh bread.
Lovely room with bath and shower. Bed comfy.
The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and quiet. The hotel is located in a nice village where you can find everything you need - a supermarked, restaurants and the beach is not very far away.
The room was clean, modern, and a good size. The breakfast was good. There was free parking and you could rent bikes directly from the hotel. Overall, it was pretty nice.
