Comfort of beds and availability of coffee machine in the room The hotel personnel were not very professional. A friend came left me a small parcel at The reception during my absence but they could not find it when I came to pick it up. |

The breakfast included in the room fare allows us to have a fantastic start everyday exploring the city. Though variety daily is the same there's little to complain when the last thing you have to hunt for every morning is breakfast . Location of hotel is so central it made the idea of having tired feet bearable. We actually skipped a fair bit of metro and went by foot and had a great time in NYC The reception staff could smile more while being factual however perhaps it's part of the NYC experience. |

The free continental breakfast. Convenient location. Comfortable bed. Big room. Free WIFI in room. I think this can be applied to hotels beyond the Red Roof, but I would like it if the expensive car service wasn't pushed on me because I know that the bellmen get kick-backs on this. Good fitness room, but some of the equipment could stand to be updated (stairmasters are old, no eliptical machines). Elevators were too slow. Soaps in bathroom were too cheap and motel-like. |

On arrival our room was upgraded by a very pleasant receptionist. All the reception staff were extremely helpful. Having stayed in New York before we were expecting a small room. The room was a wonderful size. Breakfast time was a little hectic but did not detract from the overall enjoyment of the hotel |

Good location, good staff, nice gymn, very good room, with refrigerator and microwave, plasma, free Internet, iPod Dock. We experienced problems with Air conditioning every day! Slow elevator. Breakfast could have more variety. |
