This is one of London's best centrally located hotels as it is situated on the edge of London's famed Theatreland and close to the cosmopolitan bustle of Covent Garden.

The Strand Palace Hotel has recently undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment (2006-2007) to 300 bedrooms, public areas, restaurants and meeting rooms. You can now experience the latest standards of comfort together with everything you need right on the premises; from shops, restaurants and bars to a sophisticated conference and banqueting centre.

As well as being extremely close to London's Theatreland and Covent Garden, the City (London's financial district), Chinatown, Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus are also just minutes away. For business guests, the hotel can offer 7 conference suites with full catering facilities.

Great central location within walking distance of theatreland, Covent Garden, China Town, Oxford & Regents Street, and Waterloo Station. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. We would definitely return.

Ideal location for theatreland, with everything you could need in a hotel available and willingly provided.

Check in queue was not particularly long, but moved at a snail's pace, even though there were three staff - I guess 'customer care' takes time!

The convenience for where I go. It is very clean and the staff are lovely. if you do have food it isn't cheap but it is good.

Fixed sides to shutters on window made things dark.On an outside room it is ok. No long mirror in bedroom. For a 'Club' room it is sparce. One picture. No luggage rack so I had to lift my case on & off the bed. There was (& have been in the past) a bug or two in the bathroom! Bed a bit soft. May suit some people. Pillow (foam) was solid. Prices vary due to day of week & other things.

I only had a very short stay as I only stayed one night and did not arrive till 10.30pm. However i found the staff very pleasant and efficient and the facilities very good and certainly hope to stay there again

The Strand Hotel is a few minutes walk from Trafalgar Square so it's a nice, central location. The hotel rooms are very clean, warm and have good facilities including Coffee/Tea making facilities.
